Is it normal that my bobbin only holds about 52 yds of thick/thin yarn?

Plus, how do you make your ends stay twisty?

Hi

How much a bobbin holds depends on how thin you spin!! When I spin lace weight I can spin all night for just a little on the bobbin.

Not sure about the ends I just used to hold on to them as long as possible and wind on by hand.

Looking good!!

Yeah, the ends will sort of untwist a little bit until you set the yarn by washing it, then the fiber will sort of naturally want to stay in its new shape.

Awesome! You've got yarn, what are you gonna make with it?

And is that camo Lorna still up for grabs on your trade?

What Beverly said, and yes, when I'm doing bulky it fills up VERY fast. I'm thinking that if I plan to do any more bulky stuff than I do now, that I ought to get the bulky flyer/bobbins that are available for my wheel (I have a Baynes). Isn't there a bulky flyer/bobbin for the babe?

Hmm, I know there's a bulky kit for the Babe. I'll have to look into it sometime :)
